Membership and Kit order form

Annual Membership

Falcons run for free, and we will never charge for our sessions, training plans and the advice that we give. We are a non-profit organisation meaning that everything we do is voluntary. Our committee all have busy day jobs and Singapore Falcons is an amateur running club with no immediate plans to ever become anything more. Having said that, to become and official club, we need to have an official annual membership process, pay administrative fees, licences, affiliation memberships etc.

We will host an annual General Meeting later in the year and as we grow, we need to buy things like banners, flags, first aid kts equipment etc. When we have our Falcons bank account, we will also need to get this audited and present the account summary to all members. With all of the above in mind, the committee recently agreed on a standard annual fee of $30 per year which includes all of the above as well as post session hydraton drinks each Tuesday.

We will cap our membership numbers as we want to stay small, and there will be a maximum that we will allow on our Whatsapp community and an ‘updating’ of our whatsapp group will form part of this process. The vibe we have now is because of the fabulous people we have as part of the club.

Please note, that you can only become a member, or order kit when you have attended at least 1 track session.

Read, subscribe to and demonstrate our values
Attend some track sessions and engage with our online community
Whilst we understand people are linked to other clubs, we would love you to represent us if you are signing to be a member. Seeing you flood the social media channels with Singapore Falcons content has been awesome!

The $30 annual membership gives you the following benefits:

An official Falcons membership number
Access to all our training sessions and online materials
Discounted products at a growing number establishments
Discounted race entry at many events a locally and internationally
Access to our online what's app community
Access to advice from any of the committee or other members
Access to purchase kit, which is bought at cost or heavily discounted. We don’t make profit on kit.
Access to our time trials
Post race hydration drinks at the end of each track session
Access to our end of year raffle and prize giving
Access to our members only Strava community

Inevitably as we grow, we will lose runners as a natural part of this process. Our retention has been high since we began but if there is another club more suited to you then we fully support anyone who wishes to leave. *Please note that due to the heavily discounted items from T8, only Singapore Falcons members will be able to purchase kit.

As we have done previously, we can support any members who need assistance with funding things.

Some important information about kit:

These items seem cheap because they are charged at cost, meaning we do not make a profit on them. They are only available for Falcons members. We had some people who were not at the club attempt to purchase items last time round.
The price of initial sampling, shipping and purchasing extra sizes is factored into the cost. This means we can purchase a few extra sizes in each item so that you can immediately swap it if it doesn't fit.
The T8 items are the cheapest that you will find in Asia. This makes membership important as we cannot simply let anyone order T8 gear at this price.
Please note that we have not put the female crop on this order as we need to see what they look like when order 1 arrives.
Singlet and female crops that have been paid for count as order 1, please see this as a sepeerate order. Those items will be with us over the next 2 weeks.
